Good fish and chips. Huge portions. Very happy to see independently own small eatery that lasts.

Food 9/10 (especially fish & chips) Price $$ Atmosphere 5/10 Service 8/10 Bed fish and chips in town. I saw this place for over a decade but never visit till today. Feb.2017. Wow thanks to google map and local guides who put review on the google map. Very delicious fish..... Big portion. I will go back soon.

Sunday Lunch Ordered: Two Halibut + Fries Food Quality and Quantity was amazing. The Halibut filet was basically the size of the plate. Definitely able to share this with someone. Batter was not heavy and was very crisp. Fish was also soft and fresh. The fries were not too greasy and very tasty as well. Waitress ... was very nice and the place is quite homey. I went for breakfast, had the Greek omelette, some toast and home fries. Was really not a fan of the home fries, the omelette was not that tasty either, enjoyed the whole wheat toast with butter. Overall less than mediocre. Waitress was nice. Atmosphere made me feel kind of uncomfortable, ... unwelcome - the patrons, all seemed like regulars, felt out of place. Read more

The Halibut here is amazing - HUGE portions! And not too breaded or overly oily - the texture of the fish is superb (not mushy). Would highly recommend this place. I see a lot of people here for their breakfast as well - portions look humongous! Although I can't personally attest ... to the quality since I always opt for their fish and chips. Read more
