Great deli, great service and fresh food for sure. Steele’s deli biggest competition in the vicinity is the Pickle Barrel, but the food at the Steele’s deli is a thousand times better and tastier. Steele’s deli takes you back into time and let’s you enjoy delicious juicy deli sandwiches. Highly recommend!!

Friendly service. Asked if they had potato knishes when we were seated. We were told yes. After searching the menu we could only find beef knishes?? Great deli sandwiches, (pastrami, corned beef). I've been there with my dad many times who knows what a good Toronto deli is all about. He loves it. Owners attentive to clients. Waitresses very good. The place could use some renovations.

It's a friendly atmosphere. The waitresses are fast and attentive. The food is inexpensive and represents very good value. The food is good, and the portions are generous. However, if you pick certain specialties of the house, the food goes from good to excellent. The liver is outstanding. The tongue sandwiches ... are very good. The deli meats in general are very good. Soups are very good. It's a relaxing, enjoyable meal. You can't go wrong. Proof is that the restaurant does have a lot of regulars who have been appreciative customers for years and years. I'm one of them. Oh yes, there is adequate parking. Sometimes you have to hunt for it, or park a tiny bit away. But we do that all the time in the big mall parking lots. The decor is appropriate for a "diner" type of deli. It's informal and fun. Do yourself a favour--visit this place, or if you're not in the mood to go to a restaurant, go there for takeout. They'll fill your order fast. Do I like this restaurant? I love it. Read more
