Jak’s Diner - Sudbury, Ontario

Great breakfast place. The menu options are unbelievable. Food portion was plentiful. Service with a smile 😃 What else can you ask for.

We were recommended Jak’s from a friend, who stated that it was the best diner breakfast in Sudbury, and boy was she right!! We were greeted warmly and introduced to their classic menu of breakfast items. We got the eggs Benedict with home fries-poutine style- on the side, as well ... as French toast, one with strawberry and chocolate sauce and one with apple and caramel sauce- topped with whipped cream. Everything was fantastic, including the coffee. The food came quickly and was hot, the service and atmosphere were fantastic! We will absolutely be back, and will be bringing friends!! Read more

I usually go her for breakfast, but we stopped in for lunch, and I will be doing so again. Aa, always the service was great. For breakfast there is always a wait because they are busy, lunch it wasn't as busy. It's definitely one of the best places to eat ... in town. I had the cajun burger with fries, gravy, and homemade coleslaw. Highly suggest Jak's diner. Read more

Really nice little diner where the staff are friendly, the food was tasty and the portions hefty. Beware that if you do ask for whipped cream to go on your pancakes or waffles, they go HARD in the toppings. I felt like my french toast was drowning on a sea ... of cream. But I also discovered that this was pretty good and I liked it a lot. Now lately you can find me under the highway overpasses sucking back a can of whipped cream just to pass the time. But I don't blame Jaks. It's society that's to blame. Jaks just makes good breakfast and goes hard on whipped cream, and that's what this world demands. So I would definitely recommend this place.
