Hardrock42 Gastropub - Sudbury, Ontario

I stopped in here for dinner and a couple beers with a buddy. I was a little surprised that it was inside a hotel, but figured I'd give it a chance. Very glad I did. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries, a craft beer to go with it. The burger ... was excellent, beefy patty with generous amount of bacon! The fries were fresh and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I had two craft beers from local breweries. There was a lot of beers on tap, and a good selection. The ones I ordered were fresh and delicious. The interior was clean and the decor was appropriate for a pub. The service was excellent and everything came quick. I was really happy with my visit. My kids love this restaurant. We went for supper before a wolves games and the service was excellent. They were accommodating to our schedule as we only had about an hour before the game started. Great pub in the base of the Clarion Hotel. Great selection of craft beers I can't find anywhere else and some of the best homestyle pub fare in Sudbury. Fantastic breakfast for under $10

Has the fried cheese curds and the fish and chips. Both were really good. The service was pretty good, it took a long time from being sat and drinks given for the server to come take my order.
