Okinawa Sushi Regent - Sudbury, Ontario

Very good quality sushi. Fish is tasty, not served frozen, with good portion sizes. The menu has changed over the years but the food quality is still great. The dining area is nicely renovated and well kept. A fancy robot delivers food to your table.

We were very excited to see the signs for the restaurant as we were driving by. Took a u-turn to make a stop here, I tell ya.. we weren't let down. From the host, the atmosphere and food .. every one over there was very welcoming and the host were ... attentive and very efficient. We got the lunch buffet all you can eat and food started to come very fast.. they weren't many open tables and the place was full. We sat and ate for almost an hours and a half and everything the food came fast,hot and the servers quickly cleared the tables. We were very happy with the experience and would definitely recommend! Restaurant is in a sketchy area. Inside decor is cute, food looks good but very mediocre and bland. Servers were terrible and rude. The Manager/Owner was very rude to my elderly mother and had the audacity to laugh at me for finding a hair in one of our dishes and ... insisted on charging me extra for not eating that dish.... It's my first time eating here and I was not disappointed! My coworker and I went here for supper and it was delicious! You get a tablet and pick all of the dishes you want to eat, and they bring it to you. You can order more as you go ... too. They even have a little automated robot guy that can bring your food,it's cute! The service was incredible, And each dish was delicious! I wasn't too much of a fan of the coconut shrimp and the apple pie dessert though. Aside from that , I would definitely return! There's something for everybody! Beautiful and comfortable seating, atmosphere is perfect. Our waitress was very helpful and explained how to use the e-menu. Another waitress was not very friendly or didnt speak clearly so we couldnt understand her. At times a robot brings your chosen sushi for you, which was quite interesting. The lunch ... "all-you-can-eat" is not alot of options. But the ones we did have, some wasnt the same as the picture so we couldnt figure which was wich, and the seaweed is quite chewy. However I still enjoyd it, was still nice and fresh. I will try the dinner next time. Read more
