Chocolate Barr’s Candies - Stratford, Ontario

I bought some truffles and chocolate here, and all were excellent. They have really cute little gift sets, and the staff was super nice. Really nice store.

Hands down the best! Excellent friendly customer service. A selection of chocolate you can not find anywhere! Unique truffles, marzipan and so much more! The gifts are simply stunning. Reasonable pricing for these gourmet offerings! A must see and taste of Stratford Ontario!

My favorite chocolate store anywhere. It's a shame that I believe they are only in Stratford. I've tried a few of their chocolate items and all are great. However their mint chocolate one is just unreal. Usually not a mint flavored person but this one just hits different. There is ... also freshness/coolness to the chocolate which is very different and makes for a great experience. Both the milk and dark chocolate are great. Wonderful chocolate shop. It's an attraction in of itself. Definitely worth visiting even if it's just to take in its beauty, charm and appeal located in a historic 19th century building.
