Wow it has been a long time since I enjoyed a nice Chinese meal. A mom & pop place where you order off the menu. No buckets of buffet food here! They even make their own plum sauce & sweet & sour. We love the food but it’s never ready when I pick it up. I show up late on purpose now and I still wait every time. Wish they’d just say it’s going to be later when I order.

Some people in Stratford rave about Gene's. Maybe it's better if you eat in house. We had it delivered, and never again. Vegetables were bland, soft and mushy. Meat had no seasoning, and an underlying foul taste, like dirty oil. Sorry Gene's. I rarely ever write a review, let alone ... give one star. Maybe you were just having an off day. Read more

We ordered delivery and it took over an hour and a half to get here. Our bag was soaked through, with an unknown spilled liquid all over the bottom of our order. We ordered vegetable chow mein and received chop suey. Not only was our order late, spilled, and incorrect, ... there was small plastic pieces in the chop suey. Absolute horrible first experience with this restaurant, will not be reordering or recommending to anyone. Read more

BEST CHINESE FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD. Our delivery driver, super polite. The food, oh my goodness... Just wow. So good. I have never had curry Chinese food, so amazing. The serving sizes for the prices is amazing!! Wow keep up the great work, I will be returning often! 10 ... stars!! Read more
