Wow, wonderful fish and chips and Montreal smoked meat. The curly fries were delish, ask for the garlic mayo!!!! The fish pieces were somewhat small glad I ordered the 2 piece. I was in Quebec city for a few days and this came as one of the highly recommended places to check out based on the research my cousin did. This place is famous for their smoked meat & fish and chips. However, it was the poutine that turned out ... to the best and which I would highly recommend to order. Staff does speak English and Service was good. However there was no menu in English so I had to briefly translate it for my cousin and friends. They told me they did see a menu in English online but we weren't able to find it. Maybe it is a good idea to have one English menu on hand for the summer tourists? Smoke Meat wasn't as big even though it was supposed to be their bigger size.. Maybe I Just got used to the bigger portions from the Montreal Smoked Meat establishments and it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. Their hot dog was just ok too.. Looking for a good smoke meat sandwich and fries resulted in a trip to L'Immedia (thanks to the Internet). The meat was flavourful, tender and hand sliced to perfect portions. The fries were excellent and the best I found in eastern Canada. A good selection of beverages was availalble.
