A friend and I went for beers and appetizers. I’m English so any pub that has London Pride on tap is a winning place in my book! The wings were good. Lemon and herb dry rub and hickory…something! Both good flavours. It was pretty quiet but that suited us fine. ... Clean restaurant and friendly staff. Beers were $10 each and it was wings night so was $1 a piece (I think). Date of Visit: Sat July 1 O’Leary’s Livery Bar & Grille Surprising find in St Mary’s. With only a few options to choose from for dinner options we chose O’learys. We didn’t know anything about the place, so I had no expectations. The building started its life as an old livery stable from ... the 1800s The history and the look of the building is very cool and they have incorporated the theme into the décor. Our waitress was very friendly, chatty, and welcoming. We started with the house made nacho chips and salsa. The salsa was made in house – and incorporated pineapple which made it very nice. Our main meal was the tacos –chicken and shrimp– which were very nice. Your order gets 3 and you cannot mix and Match. This is a very casual dining establishment with several beers on tap. I decided to give this restaurant a try, because some neighbours recommended it. The Mahi Mahi tacos were advertised as the featured of the day, and I was willing to enjoy some fish tacos, which I complemented ordering salad as a side. When my order came there were just leafy greens-tacos!! My ... companion was as disappointed as I was with their Cali chicken wrap, but enjoyed their sweet potato fries!! If your planning to visit this place, do it thinking of any other bar, since they have some alcoholic options. Environment as sport bar is average, food is terrible, but our server was pleasant…. This was a great spot to stop for a bite before we headed home from visiting a local store. The server was super nice and helpful. Nice roomy booths, the TVs played sports on one wall and viral pet videos on the other, which was AMAZING. My kids went bonkers ... for the Mars Bar donuts, and I really enjoyed the maple bacon cheesecake. Clean, friendly, good pub eats. Read more

This is a nice bar and grill on the banks of the Thames River in the pretty town of St. Mary's Ontario. Well worth the time to walk along the river developed path, shop and then head for O'Leary's. Very simple lunch menu but good. Opted for a ... top quality burger and we shared a basket of tasty fries. Enjoyed the beer on tap very much. The waitress was very welcoming. Very clean place.
