Honestly the best food we found in all of Newfoundland! :) We got the salmon and the turkey dinner!
Have been there a couple of times and love their food as well as the service! The food is absolutely delicious and the servers are very friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend!
Updated April 17. Still amazing and suoer friendly staff. Cant recommended this hidden gem enough, fish is great and bread pudding is still killer!! Amazing experience, from the food to the staff I aas definitely impressed and will strongly recommend!! We scallops to start and they where amazing, not too sweet ... or salty. I had the pineapple crush burger, they make the burgers in house and you can tell!! My girlfriend had the pulled pork sandwich, she also really enjoyed! For dessert we had the bread pudding also amazing. Really good restaurant and a hidden gem, prices are fair and tge place is clean. They have high chairs for small children and kids eat free with purchase on an entree. Didnt get photos of the food when it arived because it was so good!!! Read more
This restaurant has always had great chefs, great food and great service. I'm after trying almost all the items on the menu from chowder to fish to steak and all have been fantastic. Tonight we hit the brew n burger competition that's taking part in restaurants around the city and ... sampled the Pineapple Crush burger. Absolutely awesome and got my online vote. Food is good quality, staff is friendly and accommodating. I have attended a few weekend workshops at the hotel attached to this restaurant and I've learned that it's not always possible to be seated, order, eat, and pay for a meal within a one-hour scheduled lunch break. This year I ... ordered my meals a few hours ahead of time "to be ready for 12:15 dining" and the staff was able to accommodate this for takeout (Saturday) and dine-in (Sunday) service and I recommend this option for anyone on a tight schedule. Note: Staff are unable to print/reprint a receipt for a server that has "closed out their cash at the end of their shift" so don't forget to ask for a receipt at the time of payment if one is needed.
