Spicy Thai is a St.Catharine’s staple! This authentic Thai restaurent offers rich and delicious food at a reasonable price! We came for their lunch special which includes a house salad or soup, a vegetable spring roll and an entrée! They also have an amazing deal on Tuesdays. First time here, after we visit the tulips farm. The decor of the restaurant is very Thai, but a bit dark. The free prawn cracker with cold curry sauce is great. We ordered tom yam soup, Penang curry, pad Thai, and khao Soi. The soup is ok, ... the prawns are big and crispy, but not sour enough. Khao soi is good, the thick noodle with curry sauce just good match. The pad thai is quite disappointing. This is one of the signature Thai dishes, but it taste like a plate of Chinese noddle in oyster sauce, too much sauce, terrible. Otherwise overall okay. Read more

Spicy Thai is a hidden gem in this neighborhood! Despite the area, the food here is spectacular. We ordered the chicken pad thai, green curry, and chicken with cashew nuts—all were delicious! The service was great too. Definitely worth a visit!

SUCH a great spot!! we got the darling duck, the khao soi and the mango curry and they were all unbelievably delicious, rich, and comforting. spectacular portion sizes for the price also, and a great atmosphere, I can't wait to go back. the service was also really wonderful, all around ... an amazing experience. This is a great hidden gem in St Catharines. Haven't been in year's and it was just as delicious as I remember. I had the Crispy Duck and it was perfectly done. Skin was dark and crispy the meat was juicy and full of flavour. My ... wife had the Siam fish and it to was very good. We were with a large group and everyone loved their meals, no complaints from anyone about anything. Our server was quick and friendly. Overall great dinner and experience. Read more
