U Need A Pita - St. Catharines, Ontario

Dirty and poorly maintained, food on the walls, tiles falling off and toilet broken. 2 burger, 2 pitas, drinks and splitting fries for me, my wife and 2 small children was almost $100. Quality was mediocre and several mistakes were made on our orders, despite us being the only customers. ... Avoid if at all possible, several cheaper/better places in the immediate vicinity. Our family ordered over $60 in burgers and fries this evening and it was all terrible! The fries were rock hard and brown, the burgers were extremely tough that our 2 littles couldn’t eat theirs. Everyone refused to eat the fries. Money down the drain and no one was fed ... dinner tonight. This place has been very hit or miss, but lately every order we’ve placed has been inedible. Honestly if I could rate this lower than one star I would. I used to LOVE this restaurant but the quality has seriously gone downhill and I've given it several chances. Tonight was the last straw. I ordered the Spicy burger and the order was completely wrong. They used regular ... jalapenos instead of deep fried, and processed cheese instead of cheddar cheese, among other things wrong with the order. This may not sound like much but if I am paying extra for the special burger I expect the premium products that I'm paying for, and that my order will be correct. I was denied a refund and am now out money that I can't get back for another dinner (I have dietary issues with processed cheddar and cannot eat the burger). The poutine tasted like someone put Lysol in the gravy. Additionally, the restaurant always smells like sewage and is really off-putting. Raw burgers, poutines made wrong and when I went back in the employee was incredibly rude. She questioned me (poutine was made with no toppings at all) and then pulled the order slip back out of the garbage and put it on the food prep surface while she remade the ... order. Did not care a bit that my burgers were raw and only remade the poutines. It took 47 minutes start to finish to get 2 raw burgers and 2 poutines. Reviewed based solely on the chicken breast pita wrap. This was extremely delicious! I was pleasantly surprised how good it actually tasted.
