Ricki Jo’s Restaurant & Bar - St. Catharines, Ontario

My son and I entered Ricki Jo's on Canada Day around 5 p.m. to have dinner. Was met at the door by the hostess who was telling the party of 3 ahead of us she couldn't seat them right now as a bunch of people had come in at once ... and we couldn't be seated because the servers were too busy. There were 3 servers who didn't look rushed off there feet despite what hostess said. Lots of empty tables about inside and outside too. She finally sat the party of 3 then started to clean other tables leaving us to stand at the front door for several more minutes. Finally my son and I just left. Why couldn't we sit down and wait till a server could serve us instead of standing. Terrible hosting skills making us wait for over 15 minutes when there were plenty of tables to sit at. Wow. I am honestly surprised. For the price range I was really not expecting much. I was blown away. Nice old sport bar vibe, not dingy! The staff are sweet, super nice people. Very welcoming. The food was so good we didn't take a picture until I was half done! Definitely recommend the ... burgers and upgrade to a poutine! But come hungry, cause it's a big burger! Came in for dinner tonight with a friend I had the chicken quesadilla and she had the beer and chipotle burger. Food was amazing and so was our server Felicia! Will definitely be back again.

Wow, where to begin! Met with a nice friendly greeting and sat right away. Service was quick friendly and very attentive. Despite our server going on a lunch break there was no break in service. The food arrived hot and was tasty. We ordered a selection of sandwichs, burgers and wings. Nothing was bad, the ... food was well seasoned and delicious.
