Luisa was SOOO yummy! First of all, the staff are so kind, caring and engaging!! But the highlight, was the food! The carbonara was excellent! I had some calamari to compliment in the dish! This place is fantastic! Everything about it is great! The staff is so friendly! They checked in, made some recommendations, and were always smiling and laughing with us. They were happy to serve us. The food is amazing! We ordered all the Carbs! But we'll worth it. The dill pickle pizza was ... so tasty! Not over powering but the right amount of dill and pickle. The mozzarella spears are to die for! The mains we ordered were well worth it. The portion sizes were huge and the flavors were all better than expected. We started with the house made mozzarella sticks and bread. Mains were lasagna and linguine with meatballs in a mushroom cream sauce. The lasagna was massive. We finished our meal with tiramisu. Absolutely stuffed by the end of the meal. The owner Ed and our server was an absolute gem!

Haven't given this place the benefit of a review for a long while since we started eating here. Luisa's has always been wonderful to sit down at since we first found out about it. The funghi soup is incredible - definitely a shareable plate if you're into mushrooms. We've also ... had a variety of the pasta dishes here: from the cannelloni to their specials, everything here is worth a shot to try. Make sure to book a reservation by phone first! Whenever I visit, the portions are generous for the price point (which is rare nowadays) and service is always great. I got the vegetali which is penne, fresh spinach, mushrooms, diced tomatoes & rose sauce. Perfectly seasoned, it wasn't too salty and just tangy enough for my liking. I was ... left feeling truly satisfied with my meal. For dessert, their tiramisu is divine! You have to try it because it's the best way to end off your dining experience. I also saw that with bigger parties/bookings, the restaurant tries their best to bring out everyone's order around the same time. It takes hard work to time manage all of that which they do well.
