LB’s Pub - St. Albert, Alberta

This is my favourite spot to go dancing. Great service and atmosphere. The best entertainment. This special place holds the memory of love at first “site”, I should say “sound”. I met my partner here. We are both musicians and I was new to the area. I wasn’t looking however ... it was his sound that caught my attention. Now we are in harmony, both on and off the stage. We have our own band on the side…however make no mistake ROR is an exceptional band, they plays LB’s an exceptional venue! We always have a good time. My feet hurt and my heart melts. It’s a high vibe place, with good people all around you. Thanks to the service whether they’re playing or not…The sound and sound guys …if we stop in to listen to the jam nights with Trevor….. pool… VLT’s … a convenient store attached for that late night snack after closing time ….. in general a great night spot. Who knows maybe you can find the love of your life too. That night at LB’s changed the whole trajectory of my life. I hadn’t planned on going out. I never expected to find a place with such a great atmosphere. I wasn’t looking for a soulmate. I wasn’t planning on having this much fun!!! Now I do make plans, I plan to go have fun every time I hit the dance floor at LB’s. You should plan for that too!!! Read more

We were here for a live music event and WOW. The $5 cheeseburger that was on special was great - fresh off the grill. Chicken burger was really good. Nachos were loaded with toppings. The wings were slightly dry but nicely flavored. Fries were also fresh but can tell from ... the dark color that the frying oil might need changing. Overall solid place! Atmosphere was great with the event going on and one amazing server took care of everyone. We'll be back if there's another event here. Read more

Great selection of pub food. Priced reasonable. The live band was great . We went there for a birthday and the staff made sure our party was looked after all evening . I would definitely go back. Lots ... of TV to watch the game and pool tables too Read more

Thursday night is Jam Night. There are some amazing musicians that show up, and if you love live music you should come. Not every song is perfect, but there's beer for that! On my last visit I was excited to see that there was karaoke on Wednesdays. I had an out of town guest this Wednesday and thought we could hit up LBs. The place was dead, no Karaoke despite having signs up advertising. Their Facebook page is not up to date ... with events etc. Disappointing. :( Signs were still up tonight & no karaoke. Read more
