Tutti Frutti - Sherwood Park, Alberta

Got in at 11:50am. Waited 20 mins to be seated, which is fine, it was busy. We were served drinks quickly, and ordered food at the same time. 80 minutes later (yes, 80. It was 1:10pm) we finally get our food. Our eggs Benedict’s are amazing, our hashbrowns have barely-browned ... onions in them (not caramelized, as the menu states. These were almost entirely white) but the potato part was standard. The crepe that we substituted was less than a third the size of the crepe on the menu, it looked like a child’s size portion (it was well made. Just very small.) We noticed at least one group got served after us and leaving before us, which was disheartening, after an 80 minute wait. In addition, we saw a worker arguing about shifts to a manager right in front of us. Sadly, with all these issues, the food is not worth it. We will be dining somewhere else. Read more

We got to the restaurant just before noon. Rnd of the breakfast rush. We were quickly seated and put on our order. 30 minutes later our food arrived. The server did not ask if i wanted a refill on coffee. The worst part was we couldn't get our bill. At least two severs walked past me ... as I stood at the till. One tried to get someone's attention to get the bill. That server went into the kitchen. Finally our server came and got our bill. By this time it really wasn't busy. The meal was okay, nothing really special. I had the Eggs Benedict on Bacon Grilled Cheese with a side of shredded hashbrowns and onions. The eggs were done perfectly, the bacon grilled cheese was just okay, the shredded hashbrowns were lacking flavour and the onions were lightly cooked and just ... tossed on top of the hashbrowns. They would have been much better had they been browned and cooked with the hashbrowns so there was flavour. Service was not good. We received our coffee quickly, then offered a refill within 5 minutes .... then it was 45-60 minutes before another refill. Once we placed our order (which took about 30 minutes), it was nearly an hour before we received it. When our plates were cleared, it was 20-30 minutes waiting for our bill. Total time from in the door to out the door took over 2 hours. Yes, it was busy, but we were not the only customers that felt we were completely neglected. Took my car to service nearby and shuttle service brought us to Tutti Frutti. Good place to chill and have a decent breakfast. Had some hot chocolate, crepe breakfast combo and a salmon egg Benedict. Not a fan of bananas so had my crepe changed to strawberry ... in Nutella sauce. In general food was really good, environment clean and servers were friendly as well. Read more
