When down in Toronto, this is one of our favorite Vietnamese restaurants to frequent as they do great Malaysian green and yellow curries, and my wife can find her favorite Laksa, spicy, coconut noodle soup here. So invariably, that is what we ordered along with some samosas as an appetizer. ... Laksa was excellent, and the beautiful warming sensation of the chicken and potatoes in the curry was super enjoyable. We visited this Vietnamese store in Scarborough over the last ten years. It never disappointed you. Each time the must ordered items for us are House Special Noodle soup and Grilled Pork Neck. This time, we tried Braised Pomfret Fish in Thai Spicy Sweet and Sour Sauce ... and Thai Boneless Chicken Feet. Again, it was very tasty and delicious. The quality of the food wasn’t the best. The noodles soak up the soap quickly so they get soggy easily, and the grilled pork/chicken do not have a strong lemongrass flavour. It didn’t taste very flavourful or authentic. The service was great however, the servers were very attentive and kind.

This used to be my mom’s favorite pho place. Honestly prices has gone up which is normal but the quality has gone down. Pho came out warm and not hot. Quality of the noodles just don’t taste the same as they did before. However, there is still a decent amount of ... meat. I think their pineapple fried rice is pretty good. Haven’t been here for a long time and we decided to try different things. Very disappointed with the food! Especially the meats. When we ordered, they already recommended to avoid beef as it’s usually tough to chew. Skewers had no taste and we can’t differentiate between chicken or pork! The ... peanut sauce was also bland and nothing close to satay sauce. Beef slices in the fried noodles were humongous and unable to chew, even in small portions. They had to change it to shredded chicken. But the spicy flavour and noodles were good. The seafood laksa soup noodles had mostly the fake crab meat and squid, the 2 shrimps were not fresh, only the noodles and mussels were okay and the Laksa soup base was tasty.
