A complete delicacy that will leave you longing for more. Every dish is tasty, mouth-watering, and healthy, reminiscent of the Indian Coffee House flavors I grew up with and loved. Be sure to try the Vada Sambar and Onion Mysore Masala Dosa (ask for it spicy if you can handle ... the heat). This place was awesome. Tasty food, calm ambience plus the food was really in affordable price range in the current inflated times. We got: Butter Masala Roasted Dosa - loved it Mint Masala dosa - was good but couldn’t beat butter masala Cheese dosa - great for kids Idli - amazing soft and sumptuous.

This unassuming restaurant from the outside is bustling on the inside especially for brunch on weekends. Serving piping hot South Indian food specifically Tamil. Medu vada was crispy and soft and probably the best one I’ve ever had! Really good ghee masala dosa, it’s huge and crispy. Sambar and chutneys were ... all solid. Nilgiris is not only one of the oldest but serves one of the best dosas in Scarborough. Although I love the Dosas here and the service is also decent, I can't recommend this place because it's usually not hygienic. While we don't know what's usually going on in the kitchen, the ... furniture and the utensils usually look greasy. It's a 3.5 but if they're able to keep up the hygiene then it can be a 4.5 easily for how good and authentic the food can be here. Read more
