Prices have all gone up. Lunch special wasnt available at 3:30 pm (although the signage did not say its only until 3 pm). Too oily, too much batter and not enough fish. They gave me a fork for my take-out but I had to ask for a knife. Like really? ... There are ways to save money, saving on knives is not one of them. Not planning to eat here again. The fish was cooked properly but unfortunately lacked flavour and the batter was too light. Chips were cooked ok after I asked for them to be well done. Gravy was good. Growing up as a child in the area since the '80's, I'm happy to report the halibut and chips is still excellent. The batter is light and the fish is moist and flaky. Just keep in mind that everything is cooked to order so be prepared to wait a ... little bit. I don't mind the wait knowing that it'll be ready to eat at its best. Read more

Good fish and chips place, I believe it is family owned. Went with my mom one day while my grandpa got a hair cut in the plaza. The place is not visually pleasing, but the food and service are great, so I still give it a 4 star! Only thing I ... had to say was the washroom was a little scary and had a strong musty smell.
