Hero Certified Burgers - Scarborough, Ontario

Online hours claim to be open u til 4 AM on Thursday. Door is locked. Employees are no where to be seen. Open sign is on. Phone is not being answered. Where is the customer service? Disappointed

I ordered 2 hamburgers from here and a poutine. The food was very good and hot. The service was quick and the places was clean. There were plenty of spots to eat at as well.

Great time at Heroes! It’s been a few months since I’ve been at this location but it was pretty neat. I got their Action Hero, 6 Ounces with a combo and it had very nice flavour! I’m giving this place 3.5 stars round up to 4 stars. I’ll start with the good and that’s the Spicy Jalapeno Crispy Chicken sandwich which is really good. The sandwich is a Nashville hot chicken style sandwich and packs good heat without being too hot. With all the chicken sandwiches ... wars going on this blows away KFC and Popeyes. The fries are great but get soggy fast. They would be better double fried and crispy. The little ketchup packets, awesome. Now the bad. The burgers are different and may not be to everyone’s taste. I enjoyed it but had a problem with the meat. It’s tasty but the patties look processed. The problem I had was I was expecting an 8oz patty and not two fours. That maybe due to Covid but it changes the profile of the burger. They also use real cheddar which is a no no but works with the flavour of the meat. The price was high but not unreasonable for two 8oz burgers. The chicken sandwich is expensive compared to other places but still worth it. The staff were polite and friendly as much as you can be with Covid restrictions. The place was clean and not very busy. Would I go back? Yes but only for the chicken burger. Read more
