I was in there today. Finally able to eat in again. Due to the Covid situation. The Cook/Owner made an amazing meal as always. The server, that has worked there for awhile now was amazing as always. There's a McDonald's literally right down the street which you will NEVER eat at again after having a burger at this beautiful "hole in the wall" gem! I recently "re-discovered" this place in my neighbourhood - I remember eating in many many moons ago (breakfast) and enjoying it. Work close by - ... and last week i felt like a good ol' banquet burger with everything on it, so I popped in (for take out) of course. And for like 8-Bux! - I got a 4oz banquet w/fries! The burger itself was absolutely spot on and gave off such an old school greasy spoon mom and pop vibe. As well, the fries were so on point! While excited to try some more items on the menu - Today for a late lunch I decided to pop in for their club house w/fries. Man, talk about a PROPER LUNCH - The fries - SPOT ON! The clubhouse itself was extremely well proportioned with all the fixings. Perfect amount of mayo, I felt spoiled with the cuts of bacon alone. The chicken was mouth watering savoury. One of THE BEST clubs I've ever eaten. Can and will seriously recommend this joint. So worth it for the quality of food you would expect from such a place. The ONLY downside is that they are CA$H ONLY! (hence the 4 and not 5 stars). I tend to use my debit card for everything and rarely carry cash on me. Jumbo Hamburger is a small old-school looking diner, which has been open and run for 20 years by owner. Ran into it when I visited a pharmacy in the same Clairlea plaza. Burgers are well made and a decent deal. Serve a decent looking all-day breakfast too. If you like ... burgers, give Jumbo a try. CASH only. Some wheelchair parking available. Went here for the first time today and it was delicious. Unsuspecting but the burger was the best I've had in a while. Great, friendly service as well.
