What A Bakery - Scarborough, Ontario

This little Latin bakery is amazing! Tasty desserts at really good prices and the couple that run it are so nice. My favourite is the chocolate fudge cake and the coconut bread. A must try!!

Initially, I wanted to provide 0 stars but google did not provide this option. The owner was extremely rude to my friends and myself. The carrot cake we purchased was old and dry. I would not recommend this bakery for either their goods or service. I did however, stumble ... upon a delightful bakery in the Scarborough area called Whisked Gluten Free located at 1970 Ellesmere Road. Horrendous customer service and terrible experience. The lady, and I use that term loosely who I presume is the manager, charged ten cents per plate and when I asked for forks she rudely retorted that the cake we purchased doesn't come with forks and wanted yet more money. I asked ... why she was charging customers so much money for plastic forks when you can get a bag from the dollar store. She gave me a dirty look and said, " Well, go to the dollar store!" I then advised her that her customer service was horrible and that I would not be a returning customer. She then proceeded to make racist remarks. I advised her that I would be making a review to warn other customers and she smugly replied that it won't affect her or her business. Customers be warned...for a bakery, this place isn't so sweet. There are many other bakeries in Scarborough such as Francesca Bakery that is warm and friendly coupled with delicious delights that will tantalize your palette. Other places that offer desserts and have exemplary customer service are Agincoury Bakery and Cafe Mirage. Please do not support this horrendous establishment and take your hard earned money elsewhere. Read more

A quiet friendly bakery that always serves fresh delicious desserts. This place has a seating area where you can enjoy a delectable dessert while browsing on your tablet. Found it by accident one day and find myself going back every now and then for a treat!

A El Salvadorian couple run this place. They make a few things in-store including a great spicy tzatziki in summer. Olive rolls are also very good as are the walnut ones. They also serve Dufflet's cakes.
