South China Noodles Delight - Scarborough, Ontario

Via Steve... Many places in Toronto no longer selling "full" set of offals, but South China Noodles Delight does! This place still sells an excellent version, I prefer the dry version to the soup version.

I was looking for traditional Guilin noodle soup as my pregnant wife craving for it. But we were very disappointed!! It is sold with Guilin noodles. But, not Guilin style soup! No sour bean, no crispy peanut, nothing Guilin style except the noodle!! Warn you my Chinese friend, if you ... are looking for traditional Guilin noodle soup, this is NOT the one! Very small restaurant in a plaza with a lot of other great options nearby if noodles aren't your thing. But if noodles are your thing, make sure to come here! This place is small and cramp, and might be chilly in the restaurant with the door opening and closing all ... the time but it's under $15 for a giant delicious portion of noodles with a lot of meat! Between the four of us we tried the oxtail and of Brisket noodles in soup, both of which were fantastic. We also got the pork chop appetizer and based on that I'm sure the pork chop noodle in soup would be good as well.

Had the ox tail soup and a side of fried pork chop. Ox tail was fantastic, noodles and broth were on point. Small shop tucked away at the back of a strip mall plaza. Well worth the trip. It is cash only.
