I like their food and number of items they serve. They always fill up the food trays right after they need to. Service, washrooms and decorations can be better. But we always find it better place to enjoy food.

Mandarin is what it is and they deserve a ton of respect for doing it this long... The staff are amazing and tend to you with regularity, politeness, enthusiasm and professionalism. 5 star Service. Food, you know what you are getting by going to a Mandarin. You don't come here cause you ... want captivating Asian food, you come cause you want American Chinese food and other great options your grandparents from back country Ontario will eat. You will always find food you like, and you will eat as much of it as you can. The atmosphere is a bit dated, but is classic Mandarin; still nice to go to every now and then with a group of people who don't know what they would order at a Family style restaurant. As the old saying goes, “Variety is the spice of life,” and if this is true then Mandarin Restaurant is the place for you. My wife and I took our family to the Mandarin for dinner. At this all you can eat buffet there were so many different kinds of ... foods to choose from that it was truly mind boggling. From hot Chinese dishes, Roast Beef, cold salads, and sweet desserts there was plenty to go around. My family filled up our plates multiple times and we all enjoyed ourselves immensely. The food was dry, everything was sweet. Overall, dry, bland, or extremely sweet. Cheap quality. Not coming back, not worth my money. There are tons of other amazing chinese restaurants in Toronto.

Good food, Great place and excellent staff. It's a very busy place. Lots of food options. Including Asian and western. Went for one of my friends birthday and free for him on his day. Lots of choices but not enough into Chinese taste. (That's why missing one star here) Like most ... of the other dishes and desserts. Well built place for family gatherings. Easy free parking.
