Japanese Ramen King - Scarborough, Ontario

It's average at best. It's one of those new pop-up want-to-be ramen places that actually do not specialize in ramen at all. The ramen broth is bland, and the char su is not grilled to caramelize the fat. The restaurant is more into exotic stuffs like foie gras and specialty ... sushi (sea urchin ...) even though we didn't try it. We were served by 3 different waitresses, and they kept asking about how we found the restaurant, how the food was ..., they tried to be nice but at some point we felt being bothered and a bit forced trying to say nice things to them even though the food was not that great. I came from Japan, and ramen was great, sushi was great and service was awesome! 4 years old my son also enjoyed there!

Although the restaurant itself is very small, the service is wonderful and the food is delicious.

Phenomenal service. The food is amazing. Every single item on their menu is worth trying.
