I've been to Le Surcouf a few times over the years, and it's always a great experience. The cozy atmosphere is perfect for an intimate meal, and the service is consistently excellent. The owner is very present, visiting tables and adding to the general atmosphere of refined bonhomie. What the menu ... lacks in variety, they more than make up for in quality and as a fan of French cuisine, I'm always impressed with the dishes. You really can't go wrong with any choice on the menu.
