The best sandwiches in Montreal. I have been coming here since the day they opened, over 20 years ago! I have never been disappointed. I always leave satisfied with the quality, the service and the price. If only I lived closer, I would eat here everyday!

What a gem! This small neighbourhood cafe is run by such lovely, friendly ladies. It's a pleasure to support their business. The soup, sandwiches and desserts are all delicious. I really want to try every sandwich on the menu, but I always end up ordering the same ones because I like ... them so much. Soups are home made and warm the body and soul. Here's the kicker, you can get a nice, big, healthy sandwich and a soup for significantly less than it would cost for a combo from McDonald's!!! No comparison! If you're in the neighbourhood check it out! You can even take your food and eat it across the street on the boardwalk overlooking the river. Read more

Found it fairly empty...unusual I hear. Incredible service,food, and clientele.eish I had the room to try more of the menu. Next time for sure.

More cafes like Café Twigs are needed! Far superior experience than Starbucks, et al. The coffee — the most important — was on point, as was the food. Prices were reasonable (a 32 oz. of homemade chili is only $12, thus I bought two containers to take home) and the service ... was attentive. I was walking by Café Twigs looking for a place to grab a bite. It was not yet opened, but already there were several people milling about waiting for it to open, thus I decided to also wait too.
