There is absolutely nothing wrong with Gorge-ous Coffee, their service and products are great. If I give 5 stars to every place I go to, then my reviews are quite flat. I haven't been here on a music night, or any"special" occasion, just stopped in to have a baked good, coffee and a sausage roll. Nothing stood out in my mind to make this family run business stand out: the food was okay, prices were okay, the decor was okay, the ... location is good. Very Eclectic atmosphere has budding and experienced musicians performing various evenings. Very kewl place for sampling local snack/dessert including some gluten free items. It's a good place for encouraging people to step up and to express they're musical skills without harassment. Especially open mic nite for people with disabilities ... is an opportunity without judgment. Wheelchairs can be accommodated but space and layout limited for maneuverability. This is a wonderful place to listen and encourage musical talent. It is not upscale posh but instead a caring and enthusiastic place for budding performers to learn, improve, meet other local and island talent. It's a place to get live audience experience. Great Mom & Pop operation with friendly wonderful people. Such a refreshing community feel here compared to those lame big biz coffee hubs. Sit out on the patio on a summer day and just relax w/ your coffee n treats. Yummy !!

I love a good local gathering place that serves coffee and small eats. Unfortunately i was put off by Gorgeous Coffee's lack of cleanliness and shabby decor. Even when funds are short, it costs nothing to wipe down walls and cupboards. It costs very little to fix a wobbly side ... table, and it certainly doesn't take much to throw some paint on the walls.
