The coffee is the cheapest on campus and gets a strong recommendation. But the food is hit or miss. The discounted meals and discounted baked goods are discounted for a reason. I have bought completely inedible food from there on more than one occasion.

Cheapest snacks, pastries, and coffee on campus but don't let that deter you. Mainly just because the rest of campus is so outrageous the prices here are quite fair. Good mug refill service and local fresh foods make this a regular breakfast or lunch destination for me. The proximity ... to the UVic bus loop makes it a good first stop before starting classes. One of the best cafes at UVic in my opinion (in terms of selection and coffee). Usually a bit noisy and often impossible to find a seat, but they have outdoor seats for summer. Remember to bring a reusable mug!
