I walked into this place just needing a quick meal and that’s what I got. Their service was very fast and the pork fried rice was excellent. Additionally, the serving sizes are huge so you get a good amount for what you pay for. I would not recommend you order ... any of their chicken or meat dishes (just read the reviews), however if you stick to the rice or the soups you will enjoy your meal. The interior of the restaurant is pretty unappealing. It’s quite shoddy and there is minimal space but this wasn’t a problem for me because I was ordering takeout. Prompt service. Dated interior but that's okay. All food items were very good except for the fried rice. Very good value for the money. Pretty good Canadian Style Chinese food. We ordered the Cantonese style chicken chow mien, S&S Pork, BBQ Fried rice and New Village chop suey. Yes, it’s processed chicken on top of the chow mien but not unlike any other Canadian Chinese food you’d get anywhere else. Over all the flavours ... are good and you get 10% off if you pick up and pay cash. The pick up area, and entire restaurant for that matter, could use some paint and a refresh. Not worth it. Very cheap ingredients. Not real chicken meat. We ordered a combo meal with: chicken fried rice. Only has a few green onions with little cubes of fake starchy chicken. The rice is flavored with soy sauce. Chicken chow mein Noodles are cheap quality too soft and strings ... of fake chicken. And only a few sweet and sour pork with very bland sauce and it does not even have pineapple bits to enhance the flavor. Not worth 14 bucks at all. Read more
