Second time here and it was better than the first. Service is good and consistent. Dim sum is pretty decent overall but some exceptions. The soup dumpling is really just a giant seafood meatball rather than the traditional kind with the different chunks of seafood. The interior is really nice ... but they need to reconsider the bathroom tiles which gets super slippery when wet which is always since every stall has its own sink. Read more

Yu seafood is a good Chinese restaurant serving dim sum and Cantonese seafood. Came in weekday at noon got seated immediately. Service here is good, above average Chinese service standard. Decorating is modern with high ceilings, but it’s as noisy as other dim sum place as well. Love eating at Yu Seafood! Excellent service, beautiful place and food is fresh and delicious, especially the seafood dishes. My favorite is the deep-fried Vancouver crab with crispy garlic, fried crunchy noodles with beef and vegetables, and fish maw soup. Their desserts helped balance the meal with fragrant mango jelly, ... almond butter cookies, and red bean sweet porridge. My family's favorite place to eat dim sum too! We came on a weekday morning and it was bustling with customers! Food was average. We enjoyed steamed rice rolls with Chinese fritters, which was a highlight for us. Our group of 5 ordered a total of 8 dim sum dishes, and the bill came out to around $15 per person ... with tax and tips included. What I truly appreciated was the spacious and well-organized seating arrangement. Unlike many dim sum places where tables are crammed together, this place offered plenty of room between tables. We are from NJ/NJ and knew Toronto had some amazing Chinese food. We were very impressed with Yu Seafood. It was a beautifully decorated space and we went early so not as long a wait as we expected.
