Omg this place is amazing! Almost hidden gem, So happy I was with a friend who orders wings or I never would have tried these, They’re signature wings are some of the best I’ve had, didn’t know it would be from a Vietnamese restaurant! Perfect crunch and not strong but perfect ... flavour with the lime juice dip. This place is busy all through lunch and for good reason, never too busy too get a seat tho, order the beef banh mi! And the original wings , if you like sticky wings, order those too, also the best I’ve had (sticky is an understatement and the crazy crunch is still they’re, Pretty sure you can order anything here and it’s great. Stumbled upon this place, since fresh burger was closed! I noticed right away they had banh mi on their menu, so I knew I had to try it. I did not try the Pho, so can’t comment on that. Overall: 4.5/5 Food: 4.5/5 - Beef brisket banh mi - 4.5/5 I’ve tried a bunch of ... banh mi’s in Toronto, but none have come close to the ones I’ve had in Vietnam… except this one! The flavours aren’t necessarily the same as I had in Vietnam, but nonetheless, the best banh mi I’ve had in the GTA! Although, to be fair, I’ve only tried like 3-4 spots. Avocado shake - 4.5/5 - usually get this at Vietnamese restaurants, but found this to be a bit better than others! Service: 4/5 - quick and friendly staff… they were just quite busy since it was closing time. Ambiance: 5/5 - a nice mom & pop Vietnamese shop! Clean and quaint! Visited Nam on Wednesday afternoon around 1 pm. Restaurant was full but was able to find a table. Server was nice and moved us to a bigger table when it open up. We tried their famous wings. A young male Worker was refilling bottles of sauce. Our bottle was full yet he reached over my bowl & literally inches from my face while I was eating to grab our bottle! Extremely rude! Excuse me! Perhaps this worker needs to learn some manners! #73 Smoked brisket portion is generous ... but slightly dry. Noodles in broth were decent. #36 Crunchy brisket - beef is soft & tender. This place gets so packed no matter what time of the day you come. Delicious Vietnamese food but they really need to update their menu because half the items I wanted weren't available for order. Chicken wings here are always so good. I also got the Bun Bo Hue the ... first time I came and it was decent... Not the best I've had but good. Smoked Brisket pho has a good broth ..not salty and oily with a nice amount of meat and the brisket was yum. Fresh rolls were delicious. The beef stew with egg noodles were so flavourful. I also don't mind the staff singing.. they just need to pay more attention to everyone trying to flag them down. Overall, would still come for the food!! Read more
