Sushi Aoi - Richmond Hill, Ontario

I have ordered few times since i moved to Richmond Hill. So far we only had take out food but we are very satisfied with food and services. Rolls are very filling, sushi and sashimi are very delicious and fresh. They also accomodated well to my personal request.

Sushi Aoi is one of my favorite sushi spots, especially when it comes to special occasions! Their presentation is beautiful and makes for wonderful photos when it's a birthday, graduation, or whatever it may be! In addition to its aesthetics, their sushi is undoubtedly fresh. Despite the higher price point, their ... portions tend to be bigger than most other restaurants (just look at the size of that spicy salmon roll!) Speaking of spicy salmon maki, it's my favorite roll hence a comparative point for my personally. Not only are these huge, but so packed with salmon and the spicy is on point! Definitely one of my favorite places to grab this! The restaurant is always spotless (the washroom as well) and I love that they have so many booths. Sushi is good, but it's not very traditional cooking. It took a while to receive the order. It seemed that they forgot 1 dish, but fixed within minutes. Some management issues are definitely visible. Not a bad place for a japanese style dinner! Hot plates and sushi were good. I think these restaurants around the neighborhood are pretty similiar. Nice and quiet divided table which was good. Thank you!!

My family and I absolutely adore Sushi Aoi. The staff are attentive, and the food is consistently superb. We love how fresh the fish are, and the portions are generous. We can't wait to revisit this hidden gem.
