Reminds me of Il Paesano pizzeria in south Etobicoke. I would order the exact ... pizza again. It really hit the spot. Wings- breaded lightly but tasty. Hot sauce was a bit unusual. Not really hot, and had a slight vinegar or acid taste. It wasn’t the regular wing hot sauce. Not sure I would get them again in that sauce. Haven't had abruzzo in probably 10 years and almost forgot how amazing they are. Glad I had it again since i was in the area. Definitely up there making my top 3 favorite pizza joints. Finest quality fresh ingredients and the super airy baked crust and homemade meat sauce is ... what makes them truly unique. No wonder they've been around for decades with such high reviews. I first tried this pizza as a little kid in the late 80s when my aunt lived in Richmond Hill. I havnt tried it in over 20 years until today. I took a 50 min drive to come to Abruzzo Pizza. This place was just as I remember. Pizza 🍕 ... is delicious, tasty, cooked right, tomato sauce is incredible, full of flavour! I got a party pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and bacon and it brought back memories of my childhood!
