New York Fries – Hillcrest Mall - Richmond Hill, Ontario

I usually eat fries every week with my wife and usually large so I always a fountain drink as there is a free refill l, today I was very dispointed as I went for my refill and I was told that New York fries do not to refills, I check ... the net after and found out that this particular franchisees does no longer want to give out refills, previous I owned a restaurant and also served fountain drink the cost of that foundation drink is very negligible. Well when I do come to Hillcrest I will no longer be eating New York fries. I just visited the nyf at hillcrest for the first time a few days ago and the server was really friendly! I believe she told me her name was Lisa, she absolutely made my day. My order was made exactly as I requested. Overall a great experience!

Worst location. Sunday staff members are terrible. Come here once a week due to working in the mall they never make my order right. Asked the older lady to make sure the younger tall one didn’t rush my order and did it correctly. She argued with me and the ... girl still did it wrong. Had to go back, argued with me again. As someone who works in customer service as well as working in the restaurant industry these people are unprofessional and need to learn a thing or two about customer service. July 15, 2023 - this location is franchised. I've met the owner. He needs to take note and quick! The food is good as always but the service is terrible! It's time to step back in and teach the staff customer service. Start with the basics ... How to speak to ... your customers ... How to speak to the team. The Asian fellow is this picture. I don't know if he's the owners son. He was so rude to my daughter. I left her to pick up her order while I went with my other daughter to get her lunch. He was short with her and honestly outright disrespectful! The young lady in this photo (shift) appeared to be a trainee and needs a lot of work. The person taking my order, and preparing it was incredibly sweet and nice, the shorter one with the blond hair (didn’t catch their name). As a line formed they were still the only one helping around 10 customers while two other workers (one that had just gotten there) stood closer ... to the back eating poutines while the single employee was struggling to keep up. I recommend re-considering your workers as it seems like not everyone is being productive on company time. Read more
