It is our first time to try this cafe. The setting is spacious, clean and quiet. However, we are quite surprised that there do not have many customers in the peak lunch hours on Sunday. While settling down, we order 4 set lunches. In fact, its menu does not ... offer as many choices as other Chinese cafes. Generally, the food is average, but the prices are relatively higher. Meanwhile, the servers are quite inattentive to your subsequent request after lodging your orders (although they are polite). In sum, if you do not hold high demand on the food quality, it is a good place for you to chat with your friends. Read more
If you go in the morning for the breakfast which is around at around 9 to 11:30am, the resturant offers free newspaper for each table. This is a good deal if you come and eat a french toast meal which is around $4 dollars when the paper is around $1.50. Note: ... Originally when I was typing this review up when waiting for my change for the bill, I was going to be giving it a three. But I have changed it to a two because of the experience with the server and bill. Food wise, I would not recommend the Malaysian curry cause it was not flavorful and the rice felt a bit dried out. The Singaporean noodles were a bit more flavorful but still is not the best. Price wise, the curry was $8.99 and the noodles was $9.99. Felt very average in the area for a meal. Selection of choices were good cause they have menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and noodles. Wait times for the food was slow. The dishes came one after the other with some waiting in between. Service was not good. At the beginning I was going to it a three because it was average. The kid that works there was inexperienced but you can see that he was trying his best to help. The woman with the glasses there did not seem like she wanted to work there. Didn't greet us, no refills on our tea. Worse part is when we paid and was waiting for change, the lady came back and gave us another receipt saying that the original we paid for was wrong and the one she gave us is more and thus less change. We checked the receipt then and we found out that it may be because they forgot to charge us our tax on the first one. But the thing is, none of this was said to us. The lady just dropped off the receipt and said the real one is actually more and we get less change in return. The service before the bill was already average and in the brinks of "better than nothing" awfulness. After the bill, with no clarity on the situation, I decided to give it 2 stars. Read more
I like their breakfasts Portion for each item is not big but there are two items for each breakfast meal, plus bread plus drink. Lunch was not as good. I don’t remember what I ordered but my friend didn’t like it. Seems they are understaffed during breakfast time. Given their breakfasts, I thank they ... are better than average. Read more
This is a small size restaurant. It is clean, very quiet and the service is good. The menu is wide enough for a small restaurant, but nothing really special that have caught my attention. The plate portions are good and the prices are average. I ordered the sweet and sour fried pork. ... It looked very delicious. However, the sauce was too sour and the fried pork wasn’t very crispy. Some of the meals come with beverage or soup. Everything was ok except the food quality. Read more
Family run HongKong style cafe. Small but tidy dinning area, food quality are pretty good. Not crowded, not pricy, good place to enjoy a lunch.
