I spent the day with my mother and had booked a reservation for just to two of us on Mother’s Day. I knew it would be super busy but I usually come often to Moxie’s and liked the food so I wanted to take her with me. Upon arrival they ... told us that our table was ready to sit outside but my mother being a senior preferred to sit inside. I initially thought that it would take a few minutes for them to get us seats but we were seated right away which was really nice. We were greeted by a really nice waitress (I don’t remember her name) but she had curly hair and was really super sweet to both me and my mom. She engaged in conversation, and really made sure we were having a good time. It definitely was really busy that day so the wait time for the food was a little long but we didn’t mind at all. We ordered the lunch special for Mother’s Day so my mom got a special treatment that day. All in all, this location is definitely a great place away from the city and just lovely. An upscale but relaxed and casual restaurant. I had the Chicken Alfredo for lunch and it was absolutely delicious: hot and creamy, with a generous portion and tasty garlic bread. Very modern decor. It's a lively place, which I found it a bit noisy but the food and service were terrific. ... My order arrived within a few minutes, but I arrived shortly before the lunch hour rush. This Moxies is becoming our favourite go-to. Their New York is hands down much better than what we had at the Keg last week. Steak was so tender and cooked to perfection with the perfect flavour and seasoning. Well thought out appetizers and great flavours for all dishes. ... Drinks are creative and not overloaded with ice. Guac/salsa chips were super fresh and tasty. Love that you have a vegan section. Thank you! Staff are always friendly and attentive. I would say my experience in Moxies was outstanding. A friend of mine had recommended this specific location, but it went absolutely above and beyond. In first place, our server Travis cared a lot about our experience. As it was our first time, he took the time to explain the ... menu, and give some advise. He also asked us if we were celebrating any special date (we did) and at the end, he provided us with their special dessert. White chocolate brownie.
