Symposium Cafe Restaurant & Lounge - Richmond Hill, Ontario

Here on a Friday night with my spouse, we were promptly seated, friendly staff with good service. Not an over whelming menu with decent apps and mains. We both enjoyed the burger, cooked perfectly and to order, we will definitely be back. Bon appetito.

TLDR: Very pretty food, but not the best quality Been to the Barrie one before but had a better experience here! My mom got steak bites and i tried them and quite enjoyed them, i had brushetta and i think i would've liked more goat cheese on it but otherwise it ... was good! I had fish tacos which i didn't really enjoy, honestly, they were way too messy for me. I also had a creamy macchiato and i expected it to be cold but it was kinda lukewarm and way too sweet, and they accidentally gave us two? I opted for iced tea instead and it was kinda just meh. My mom had pulled pork poutine and enjoyed it, along with a coconut drink i can't remember the name of. I feel like this place is more focused on looks rather than taste- the lettuce they randomly serve the food on for some reason sorta makes this evident. Friendly staff, great food, decently priced! I come here very often! Symposium is one of my go to places to eat! I have brought clients, employees, my realtor, friends, and my family! If you have not gone here yet, you should definitely check it out!

I like the Early Bird Breakfast before 11 a.m. from Monday to Friday for $7.95 with a bottomless coffee included. My wife ordered this morning a French Toast & Fruit Cup while I had a Three Egg Omelette for $7.95 plus $1.50 for egg white. The food was tasty, and ... the service of the waitress Rosie was commendable. The owner Tino cheerfully greeted us twice. The decoration of the restaurant is classy and eye-pleasing. The atmosphere is nice as well as decor. The food was average, the souvlaki was dry and rubbery and someone seems like tries save on whipped cream on the iced coffee and put just a little . The service was OK, till they gave me glass of water from the ... table where they were cleaning, the glass was looking full (with ice melted) but it was disgusting. We both (myself and my little one) got food poisoning after, I guess from cake that probably was too old (all rest we eat separate). Read more
