We walked in, no one greeted us. The bartender cocked her head to our left, I guess signalling we could sit wherever? No one told us that, but we seated ourselves anyway. Our server started out strong, with prompt service, until all our food was at the table. She asked ... how everything was, and we barely interacted with her since. It wasn't very busy. We asked for a glass of water, and fifteen minutes later, she still hadn't brought it over. Luckily for us, we were sitting right by the pitchers they use, and we poured it ourselves. We couldn't even find her to ask her for it. I would've liked another beverage but she never came by, let alone for us to flag her down. Instead of interacting with her tables, she was talking with another server right beside us about how a new girl was rude, talking behind her back. We found this unsettling to listen to team members speak really poorly of other team members they should be helping to learn. They spoke about other tables they were "taking care of" in a really judgemental way, too. While the food was pretty good, the service nosedived and we were honestly uncomfortable. We waited 25 minutes before we went to the bartender to ask to pay. The bartender referred us to our server who had just now remembered we existed. She proceeded to speak negatively because a tip wasn't left. She treated us poorly and expected us to leave a tip? It was our first, and last time here. I'm sure some of the servers are kind, but the one we had was dreadful, and we won't be returning. If you just want a casual night out, sit at the bar; at least the bartender takes care of their customers. Read more
