Came in for some treats for my family march 12 later in the afternoon. I got scones, chocolate croissant & cinnamon bun with frosting. Purchased here multiple times. I get home to realize the girl put the cinnamon bun in a paper bag so all the frosting was smeared everywhere, ... the croissant was hard and stale. Scones were as per usual, tasty. Had to drive back to get a refund on the croissant I'm not paying almost $5 for a stale pastry & the cinnamon bun replaced. I asked her why the cinnamon bun wasn't in a box like always? Because they didn't have any was the answer. No apology just attitude & rude customer service. Read more
I walked in with not even a clue of what they have, how to order, and what each bread is. Yes. I’m that gal who knows nothing about bread. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted kindly. Given I’m an open person, I told the gentlemen behind the ... cash register that “this may come off silly, but I know nothing about bread”. He helped me select the flax seed loaf that my partner ended up LOVING. We made avocado toasts with it along with a few different variations of sandwiches. I’ll be coming back for sure! Read more
I bought 6 custard & fruit danishes that looked fresh. At $3.75/ea I expected more fruit and more custard. The blueberry danish had 6 small blueberries, a thin layer of custard.and light dusting of icing sugar. The pastry tasted more like bread than pastry. I was rather disappointed having spent ... $20. Longos Supermarket has better danishes for half the cost. Read more
Amazing bakery with a wide variety to choose from. You can find everything from scones, croissants, baguettes, cheese pull-aparts, custard pastries to cinnamon buns. Everything I've had here was amazing. They have daily breads of the day. Aaron is always great. We also came here on New year's Eve before ... they were closing and saw that they were donating a good amount to charity. It made me like this place even more. Edit: the last few times I've gone in a young lady has been somewhat rude and impatient, not giving me a chance to look around and continuously demanding "anything else?...is that it?". I went in on Jan 6 (afternoon) and literally was in and out of the store in less than a minute because she was so snappy and impatent. It's too bad as I would have likely bought a lot more had I not be rushed. I'm reducing my initial score for this. Read more
