Reviews for Pho Han Restaurant in Richmond, British Columbia
Great deal on BOGO free (For Take Out Only). I tried #B2 (Well Done Beef Noodle Soup & Real Banana Strawberry smoothie) for $26.00 (that means two set combos) Foods and drinks are delicious. However, the paper containers for noodles (pho) need to be improved. It is because the bottom/side layer noodle ... stick on the box together and waste. Read more
A solid 4 out of 5! Pho is tasty with hands down the best brisket that any pho place has to offer. The cut is thick and super tender, unlike most places with dry brisket. Portions are large and offer great value. Only off a 5 star for me was ... the soup as it was a bit mild compared to other places, maybe a few more bones and a couple of extra hours on the stove would do the trick. No msg though which is good. Ordering is super easy with the QR code and did arrive fast. Place is a bit small but good for a quick in and out. Read more
- a tiny restaurant with literally just a handful of tables. There was only one person working the whole time we were there. He was the chef, waiter, cashier, busboy, and probably the dishwasher as well, all rolled in one 🤭🤭 - its Bun Bo Hue was the spiciest BBH I've ... ever eaten 👍👍👍 and the beef really melted in my mouth. 🥰🥰🥰 However, its beef had no meat flavor. - Wife's not too happy with her P1 Pho. She said her soup was too mild, the tendons were chewy, and the beef was tasteless. - because it's a tiny restaurant, I was expecting its prices to be cheaper. Guess not, its prices were anything but tiny. $16.99 for a Bun Bo Hue and $14.50 for a Small Beef Pho. Sounds pretty standard but: >> it's BBH is actually 11% more expensive than Thai Son, just 10 minutes walk from here. Or 24% more on a Tuesday (10% off every Tuesday at Thai Son). Thai Son's Beef Pho cost $13.25 for a Small and $14.25 for a Large or $11.93 and $12.82 respectively on 10% off Tuesdays. >> Pho 37, just 5 minutes walk from here, its BBH is $17.50 or $15.75 on Mondays (10% off every Monday) So, there's really not much incentive eating here, at least not the price. Taste-wise, not a whole lot either. PS. It's closed every Monday. In fact, all restaurants within this plaza, with the exception of the Chinese cafe, are closed every Monday. PSS. At least it takes credit cards 👍 Read more
Tiny family run restaurant that isn't bad. No were close to being the best in Richmond, but it's priced right and you get good portions. The restaurant only have 3 tables inside, plus the "bar" by the window, but the is a couple of tables outside. My Grilled Pork Vermicelli ... was pretty good, but the Fish Cake Soup didn't have much taste to it. The spring roll was kind of gross. I think the oil temperature was too high, because the skin was dark, but the inside wasn't fully cooked and had a mushy texture. I ordered online and found the menu was limited. Also, I put the order in at 4pm for a 4:55 pickup. I got there at 5:05, and still waited 10 mins for the order. If you like quantity over quality, then this may be the place for you. Read more
Uber had a BOGO offer that's hard to resist - CAD10/set meal! Grilled chicken on rice: - Chicken is juicy but not well marinated. - Rice was surprisingly 👍🏻 texture is akin to jasmine rice rather than the typical broken rice. - Egg and salad on-par. Perfectly paired with the fish sauce/vinegar dressing.
