We made a dinner reservation for 7:30pm and ordered the $1088 set menu ahead of time. We have 12 people, 7 adults, 4 children and 1 toddler. Arrive at 7:15pm. We let the hostess know we are all here and was told we are early so we need to wait, ... understandable. We waited. 7:30 arrives we follow up with the hostess, it doesn't look like our table is ready, so we waited. 8:00pm still our table is not ready. 9:00pm our table was given to another party. 9:15pm we were given a table. There wasn't enough chairs so we waited again. 9:30 we are all finally seated. Food starts coming at 9:45pm. We didn't finish dinner till 11:30 and was the remaining few tables to leave. I understand over booking but this is ridiculous. At the end we still tipped 20% because I know working a Chinese restaurant is hard. It was the staff that took the reservation at fault. For a Michelin guide restaurant, it is definitely for the food and not the service. The atmosphere was so hectic, tables were cramped together it was a fire and evacuation hazard. Good quality dim sum. Everything was hot and fresh. Portion was reasonable. If you place your order before 11 am it’s 20% off and after 11 it’s 12% off.
Went for dim sum around 9:30 and minutes later it started to fill up, big line up out the door. Great price for the portion sizes. The shrimp dishes are packed with big chunks of shrimp, everything was hot and fresh.
We got the Dungeness Crab cooked 3 ways. Steamed, fried, and oven roast. My favorite is the steamed! Super fresh and delicious 🤤 Staff also super attentive and friendly. Restaurant got real busy during dinner time on a Tuesday! Atmosphere is lively and good. Very pleasant experience, highly recommend this place.
Every dish served was delicious, well presented and highlighted the ingredients beautifully! The steamed Alaskan King crab was my favourite! Cooked perfectly so that the meat was tender and juicy! I was treated to dinner so I’m not aware of the prices, but with seafood and Peking duck it’s definitely going ... to be $$$$. Service was pleasant and they did change up our plates often. Read more
