During my recent stay, I experienced several disappointments. The room was not clean, with visible dust on surfaces and stained sheets. The room decor just seemed very outdated. The air conditioning was loud, and the toilet seat five sizes too small for the toilet, and no water pressure from the ... shower! This hotel doesn't even offer free parking for hotel guests! The fee is $10/day to park at the lot. The overall experience was way far from what I expected, and I would not recommend this hotel to others. Save your money and stay somewhere else. Read more

I booked an accessible room. The accessibility features were all great, but the electric situation is terrible. Different devices need to be unplugged in order to plug in other devices, and all the power comes from underneath a desk which is very hard to reach. The electric kettle was not ... accessible. Difficult to open and has to be unplugged before you can pour. Much better to provide the kind that simply lifts off a base that stays plugged in. On a positive note, all the staff I interacted with were pleasant, professional, and appropriately dressed. The area around this hotel has a lot of interesting restaurants. If I were staying longer I would have tried them all! The Chinese community here is large and vibrant. I've always been welcomed kindly when I shop and dine at Chinese restaurants and businesses. I never do reviews, but this experience was so bad, I had to. Honestly the worst hotel experience I ever had in my whole life. Me and my mother checked in and when we were planning to go to bed, I flipped open the bedsheet to find a dirty used ... men’s underwear in the middle of the bed under the folded blankets. Not to mention there was short curly hair all around the underwear… completely unacceptable. This tells me this hotel does not change the bedsheets let alone even check before the refold the same sheets. We told the front desk, and their customer service was horrible to say the least. We had to ask them for a new room ourselves, no apology, and was received with a whole lot of attitude. They even said that they have 3 people check all rooms before to make sure they are clean. Clearly they did not do a good job?! Seems to me they were blaming us that we put it there ourselves?! Even the new room, the bedsheets were wrinkly, which leads me to believe they don’t change any bedsheets. For the amount of money I spent on this hotel, you would expect basic customer service and at least clean bedsheets. What I liked about this hotel. Convenience: walking distance to tons of Asian restaurants. Free shuttle service to airport. Rooms and service: rooms are ok. Clean generally but not 5 star clean. You still see dust after room cleaning done. We requested room cleaning, but it took 2 attempts before it happened. ... Still the staff was very friendly which is great. Pricing: varies with season, but generally reasonable. Overall: A nice hotel if you like to be near the airport and eat tons of authentic Asian food by just walking around with shuttle to the airport as a very nice plus. Read more

The five stars are because of how genuinely surprised I was when I walked into the hotel. The lounge had a really great vibe. When I walked up I was greeted by a kind man I can’t for the life of me remember. Bu please give him the cheer he deserves. ... He welcomed me, accommodated me on my early check in requests. Any islander staying for a flight will be happy. I’m here for medical so the rates are appreciated. I will be back many times. Read more
