White Spot - Richmond, British Columbia

Thought I would try the same dish twice and give a review. Both times not good. Tried the Gochujang lettuce wraps, usually enjoy these types of wraps at other restaurants. At white spot tried it twice in a few days and both times not good. First of all there is ... no Chicken in the “ lettuce Chicken wraps” I tried if the first time and thought maybe it was a mistake and now again with the second time, it’s the same, it’s just breaded fried dough with korean spicy sauce on it. I think the first time there might have been a piece of actual chicken but definitely not on the second time. Atleast first time there was more veggies, more lettuce, more carrots. The second time there was very few pieces of lettuce, maybe 5 cucumbers pieces total and few pieces of carrots. Absolutely no consistency between both orders that were placed couple of days apart. Was searching for some quality but couldn’t find any. The idea of having korean lettuce wraps with chicken on the surface is a good one, but the execution at white spot is terrible. This item should be removed from the menu if it doesn’t get a better treatment. Go try cactus club lettuce wraps and see what they should be like. Read more

Honestly, Canadian/American style restaurants aren't my biggest thing, but the food here was exceptional. White Spot is usually pretty good but this specific one was really it. The chicken, broccoli, and cheese was just perfect in every way and satisfied my cravings. It's a baked cheesy dish with lots of ... creamy flavor and a side of rice. Love love love it! White Spot sweet potato fries are always a hit. They are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with the best chipotle mayo sauce to complement it. Gochujang fried chicken burger was delicious as well, with a thick crispy batter and hot and fresh chicken. Service - Very sweet and attentive. Atmosphere - Cozy and homey. Not overwhelming or loud at all. Super clean. The tables were cleaned immediately after guests were done. I do recommend this place! Read more

Ordered the southwest style chicken quesadilla and a chicken ceasar wrap with side of fries and coleslaw. Pricy for sure but definitely tasty! Service was great as well!
