Kingswood Pub - Richmond, British Columbia

Stumbled upon this lovely pub when we were looking for a place to watch the game. All the big chain restaurants were completely full, so we decided to give this place a try...we were so happy we did! The service was amazing - thank you to Danielle for being so ... sweet and attentive! You made our experience wonderful. A great place to come and enjoy beer and great food. Food is ok. Not a very busy pub on most days. Staff is friendly. They have live DJ on karaoke Saturday evenings. Ladies' washroom is always tidy and clean which is very important.

Today I coworker recommended I try the beef dip here. It was in all honesty one of if not the greatest sandwich experience of my life. I almost cried. Packed with not just slices, but chunks of beef. It takes a lot to fill me up ... and I couldn't even finish everything. I got it with the fried onions and cheddar cheese which really topped it off. The fries are also excellent. This is a great local place hidden away on Number 5 rd. The drinks are as reasonable as they get and the food is suprisingly good. The staff are very friendly and there are a lot of TVs to watch. They occasionally have live music as well. They are in ... the midst of some nice improvements. The food menu along with the cheap drinks and great staff make this the best place to have a drink and a snack in the neighborhood. Read more

Friendly, friendly people! Being new to the area, I went out to meet some new people. This pub had a very comfortable feeling to it. I met about 15 new people, all very friendly. The chef smokes his meat and has a great hot sauce. Friday also includes some live ... music. My only complaint would be that I wish the music went longer. It finished before dark. This is what a local pub should be like. I will be back many times over the summer. Read more
