A terrific congee place. Yes it is not fancy but they do a great beef congee. The Chinese donut is tasty and rarely stale. They also do rice rolls which are pretty good. Price is cheap but they are cash only. Staff are friendly with Cantonese language dominance.Transit is accessible ... from the nearby Aberdeen station or the bus stops on cambie or number 3 rd. 05/29/17: 4.5 out 5 - Traveling from Portland, Oregon with 4 adults and 3 little kids. This place was convenient being that they are open from 9am to 8:30pm everyday. Honestly, for the price and quality, the Congee and Chinese Donuts at Wah Yun Noodle House is superb. ... The service is what it is so be patient with them. They are making A LOT for so many impatient patrons. Caution though, the Congee is seriously hot! For most Asians this is ideal, but for me I had to let it cool a bit to save my taste buds for other yummy foods. If haven't tried this place then do so at least once and decide for yourself.
