We have late night meal. Cleanliness is good, lots of people at night. We ordered no 56 pork ribs mix chicken with pork sausage served in claypot, its like hotplate style. V yummy, chicken is tender, pork is great. We also ordered clam in black bean sauce with rice. One ... of the best clam dish i tasted. Initially we ordered scrambled eggs in 3eggs - salt egg, preserved egg etc , we waited but the dish didnt come. It turned out, its not even in the bill. I’m very happy that I have stumbled upon this place. I was looking forward to visit Vancouver as I missed my Hong Kong tasty cuisine since it is hard to find in the Midwest, but really couldn’t find anything that lived up to my expectations during this short trip. You ... can really taste the favor of the food and wok 味 was very good. Besides from that, the waitresses were all very friendly and helpful. I even witnessed them handling an irrational customer. I thought they handled really well especially being a business owner in the customer service industry myself. I really a great service. So the current rating doesn’t do them any justice. Really enjoyed their poached chicken with ginger and green onion sauce on the side as well as their beef noodle soup and eggplant dish. The flavour was spot on and the dishes are presented nicely. However, I do wish the noise level can lower down a bit in dining environment ... as we found the staffs are shouting over something in the kitchen. Read more
Came here around 8pm, the restaurant is 80% full, from ordering to having food on the table takes about 40 minutes for 3 simple dishes The congee portion is REALLY big and delicious.
