It is consistently good. It is for sure better than many Korean or Chinese operated sushi restaurants. It is not fine dining but a good goto place for casual Japanese if you have difficulty choosing one in Richmond.

Service is worst than last time, Our server always miss our orders And put our order to another table first, then give us back after 5 minutes, how dirty she is? We used to take my dad here all the toke cause he liked the happy hour but after he passed away and the pandemic, we hadn’t been in a few years. Our family decided to go again for old times sake. The food is good and prices were reasonable but ... they have gone up. Much fewer items on the happy hour menu and not as cheap before but still good. Our server was very good and attentive. A steadfast Japanese tapas/sushi place with a wide variety of sake, if that's your thing. The food is palatable and while they have nicer cuts of tuna at an economical price, don't expect "omakase" quality. Nice presentation on their dishes and the staff are friendly.
