Aji Hana Japanese Eatery & Udon - Richmond, British Columbia

I've been buying the same item (teriyaki salmon don) from this place almost ever since I found out about this mall. Poor quality and poor tasting food. The edamame was soggy and a yucky shade of green. The sushi rolls were bland and didn’t taste fresh. Don’t eat here, options are better anywhere else.

There was this huge Gachapon machine inside Aberdeen Centre and you needed to spend a minimum of $15 to play the Gachapon machine, so we bought some lunch for ourselves at Aji Hana. $15 was easily spent at Aji Hana. Food was fairly reasonably priced for a food court and ... for today's standards. I quite enjoyed my Avocado cone sushi. It was generously stuffed with avocado. They're a decent place for sushi if you're in Aberdeen and want something quick & satisfying. Read more

Should have read the reviews before eating here. Chicken teriyaki was disgusting, the cheapest cuts of meat possible. Fish looked old, not at all appealing to eat raw. Probably worst Japanese meal I’ve ever eaten. Avoid.

Pricy compared to most other options in this food court and not necessarily worth it. Okonomiyaki was very good, tamago nigiri was bland (not heavy-handed enough on the dashi?) and you have to order at least 2, corn croquettes were 95% flavourless potato to 5% corn and the dipping sauce ... wasn’t good. Maybe their rolls are a better choice but past reviews aren’t promising. Plenty of other options just a few steps away. Read more
