Denny’s - Richmond, British Columbia

Travis F was absolutely amazing. Loved his humour and attitude and that just made our experience so much better! First time trying their chicken wings and I’m sure it wouldn’t be our last! Great taste and falls right off the bone

My husband and I have been a very long time loyal customers to Denny's from the previous one on # 3 Road to the one now on St. Edwards Drive. In the past 30 years, we never had had any bad experience but finally this record was broken, just 2 ... hours ago. We thanked this particular lady by the "Gra...." who helped us to make this happen. From the time that she came to our table taking our order, to her serving us coffee (that was cold even a refill, until we asked for a hot one; also never happened in the past too) and our food and finally the bill, her face remained stony faced. She hasted away like a whirlwind every time and would not even spend a second with us as though we had leprosy or something contagious. I quietly observed for a while how she did with the other customers thinking that it might be just her nature as some people don't smile and not necessarily have to. But then I realized she chatted and smiled and was friendly a completely different person. That made me wonder what we did we do wrong to deserve such kind of service/attitude from her. Yet we maintained our chill and tried to enjoy a good brunch and continued to be friendly with her to the end. She disappeared from us quickly the last time after leaving us the credit card machine for the bill and never returned. It was indeed a very bizarre but unpleasant occurrence to us, but oh well, this was not really a big deal, as we understood that it was not our fault; therefore, we decided that we will still continue to be a regular loyal customer as usual, not to be affected by someone insignificant. But of course we will also make sure that in order to make this poor lady’s life easier, she will not be required to serve us in the future. First time visiting and had such a great experience from beginning to end! Travis was our server and was such a wonderful human being! Thank you for the great service and brightening our day!

It's a nice place, I live close by so I visit time to time. The food is good, the place is clean and comfortable. The service is really nice, last visit we got spoiled by Vritika, amazing service! Overall would recommend this place 👍

Had a rather sad experience ordering breakfast. Ordered Bacon and eggs with gluten free english muffin, and the muffin came out with mold on it. Was assured by the server that it "wasn't mold, just dusting on the muffin", and they brought out a new one. But it's pretty clear it was blue ... mold as the new one was fine. (Photos of both) Doesn't fill you with confidence that the gluten free muffins are being stored correctly and ever checked. Another sad day for trying to eat out with allergies 👌🏻 Eggs themselves were great, service was fast and nice though. Probably perfect safe for anyone who isn't gluten free 😂 Read more
